The past month or two I've noticed that the air conditioning is going a little wacky. Even when I have it on Max A/C, if I step on the gas too much or go up even a little hill, the air from the vents on the dash stop blowing air completely, until I let off the gas. It seems there's still some air that comes through the center console if I have the rear air on (which I almost never do). So what does this mean?

Is it only on the a/c? Have you tried it with just the vent on full blast? Could be your blower.

Tried leaving the vent on high when going up the hill. It didn't have a problem... I switched it to the AC, and it went out until I got to the top of the hill.

Does your control work off of vaccume ?

Could be a leaky hose under the dash .

Yep, a vac issue.

It is either the vaccum on it, or the type or a/c system it is. Some recent models have it set up so when you are under a load (the hill) and you punch it, it will cut the compressor off. Hope this helps. But if I were you, I'd be leaning toward the vaccum issue.
