Hello again,

i have having a lot of work done on my 98 EX next weekend, full service all oils fluids etc. i have been asked by the people doing this, who are in the process of getting all of the parts together if i have a round or square air filter. not being the most competant car person when i look under the bonnet it all looks pretty square to me, would i be right assuming that if the box behind the headlight is square that is the one i want?

has anyon also upgraded the headlamp bulbs? i came home yesterday evening from Suffolk and could hardly see anything when i was driving down some country lanes. I wondered if anyone els had this issue and found a good replacement

Andy

If you have the standard air filter box (behind the headlamp) then you want the square filter.

The headlamps on the x are not very good. I have fitted uprated lamps 100/65 but they are still pretty awful. Hence the extra lights for full beam on mine.:D

yea that is a slight downside on the ex as iv noticed on 3 of them, iv fitted 95/100 but all tho they are clear white i would still want them brighter, possibly 150 or higher.

Hmmm ok looks like a some extra dipped beam type lights are on the way then.

anyone have any ideas on these?

the people doing the work are very resource full so they can make brackets etc

Andy

P.S. Thanks for the filter info
