Hello Everyone.
I was out on the trail in my '96 sport today and got 3/4 through a water/mud pit and the engine konked out because the filter was full of water! Luckily, i didnt get stuck and the engine appears to not have taken any water in itself. I let the filter dry in the sun for a while and put it back in. Now the truck is fine. My question is about the location of the intake. It appears to be in the right(Passenger side) front fender, is this true? Also, i would really appreciate any tips as to prevent another mishap like the one i had today. Is there any cheap and relatively easy way to relocate the intake to create almost a snorkel effect so that the water cant get in so easily? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
