Okay, you all have heard or read about the "whistle in the 2000 to 25000 rpm range in the 4.0 engines. I was curious, don't laugh, if changing the airflow would work. For instance the tornado http://www.tornadoair.com/ I have tried everything on mine, and before getting one of these I wanted the humble opinions of everyone that cares to comment. I could care less about its claims for mileage, HP, etc. What I really want is that stupid whistle to go away. I have tried...
1. disconnecting and/or restricting crankcase air flow from air intake
2. removing the 2 plastic parts from the intake hose (that candy cane looking thing and the square flat one) and plugged the holes
3. combing over the engine and intake with and adjusting parts for tighter fits and checking for leaks
Well, that sums it up. Again, don't laugh. I am just wondering if anybody has noticed a change in noise by using an item like this.
