Air intake question/Lift question

I was looking at air intakes and can't decide between the K and N, MAC, or KKM. Is the KKM smog legal in CA? What do you guys think is the best for the money? Is the K and N really worth the cash?

Also whats a better lift for my 99' X the Superlift 4'' or Trailmaster 4''? Are there any other choices?

KKM isn't CARB certified and K&N is, that's why K&N costs so much more. Many people on here slap a K&N sticker on their KKM and pass inspection fine. If you want a new tube go K&N or Mac, if you just want a filter and adapter go KKM.

Superlift is a better quality kit. These are the only 4" kits I'm aware of.
