Hi all,
Are air tools needed for suspension work (lower bjs, tie rod replacement, etc)? or can it be done with regular tools?

Depends on the Max psi. Large tanks are better for constant tools (drill, ratchet, cut off wheel) and large tanks aren't needed for small burst tools (nail guns). But it all comes down to is higher HP = faster fill and larger tank = longer use and higher PSI = more power.

you going to need a C-Frame press (NOT AN AIR TOOL) for any ball joint/tie rod end work. i bought one today for 20 bucks at Harbor Freight. Great tool man, many uses for.

for air tools a good impact, an air hammer with assorted chissles would be good. if you are doing bushings i would suggest an air chissle, but a hack-saw will work
