Hi all-

Quick question. I'm a pretty advanced shadytree myself, but lack the lift to install a Groundforce 1.6" lowering kit (springs, shocks and bracket/stops). Not including the alignment, how many hours of labor would be the flag rate to install this set-up, before I start calling around? Thanks!!

Chris

Depending on what tools the shop has at its expense (the big ones), this could be a very fast process, or a "take my time" kind of thing. I'd safely say 1.5-2hrs at most, it's not hard at all. We put on Eibach lowering springs on an 04 Yukon Denali in about 30mins and removed the front torsion bolts.

Goto a good suspension specialist shop, not those general "we try and fix your car" general shops out there. I remember when I didn't have the tools to put my blocks on.. the guy wanted 4hrs of labor ($85/hr), I was astonished and left. I gave in, bought myself a jack and completed my socket/ratchet set, and was good to go.

My friend got lowering springs put on his GTI for about 50 bucks I think.

Thanks fellas... I was thinking about 2 max, but it's better to go in at least slightly informed....
