air vent louvers

After you get the wiper arms off and the phillips screw off the drivers side out of the louver, do you just pull straight up on both louvers or what? This is a 99 XLT.

First of all, welcome.. Now, just what exactly are you trying to do? Love to help, but need more info..

I have an air leak on the passenger side between the window and the dash, window seal looks fine, so I figure right below the louvers might be the problem!
