Airbag Light And Constant Beeping

OK another question for the guru's . Truck is a 2001 Explorer Sport. 4.0. When i bought it the airbag wasn't on, (it would come on when u turned the ignition on and then go off. BUT it would beep at me, the usual 5 beeps 5 times, a few seconds between the 5 beeps. At this time the light was off. Then the light came on, no flashing just permanently on. And now the beeping continues. I have read the people get a flashing code.. I get nothing so how can I diagnose this? Is there a way to get it to flash? or give me the diagnostic? The beeping is driving me nuts, and its not the seatbelt! thats a diff beep (also drives me mad).

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! The ABS diagnostic module sometimes beeps out a fault code. Get the code read. You might have a bad module or something else wrong with the system.
