Airbag replacement.

Welcome to this forum! Disconnect the battery, and wait a minimum of 10 minutes before installing new air bags. They have small screws holding them in place in the rear with a plug that goes into them.

Thanks, I've read most all the posts. What is the "module" and does it also need to be replaced. Where is it located?

The module is under the dashboard, and would need to be replaced if it's defective. Why did both air bags deploy? Was it a false trigger or an accident?

airbag impact sensor
Mine was in an accident. I purchased the bags w/ module, I'm trying to figure out if I my 01 Sport has one or two airbag crash sensors.
Found this on ebay which makes me think there's only one sensor. Then there's what ever the heck this is that makes me think there might be two sensors.
Under the car, I see one harness with a red cross closer to drivers side but haven't seen another. I'll look in the morning, never thought about it before.
