Hi I just bought a 2007 sport trac limited v8 from a savage auto sales i need to replace the driving wheel airbag and the drivers seat belt but don't know if i have to replace anything else that has to do with the airbag system, any help is appreciated thanks.

I have *some* body shop experience, more of a helper than professional, so take it with a grain of salt. On most newer vehicles, airbag replacement is plug & play. I believe the days of front-mounted impact sensors are gone, you know, the ones damaged in the crash that need replaced -- most new vehicles have an inertia sensor. Replacement airbags can be found on ebay, etc, along with new or used seatbelt assemblies. Often the airbag can be removed from the steering wheel (from behind) with large torx screws. Steering wheel remains in place. Older vehicles had the charge canister device in the column, newer vehicles are electrically charged. Seatbelts, also easy to swap, again, usually require a large torx screw bit. Good luck.
