I had my wiring harness touching the exhaust manifold and some bare wires were showing. Then the ex would not start, tried many different things and it came down to the neutral start switch. I think it is done for, causing the ex to not let the starter kick in when i turn the key to start. So I wired in a push button across the starter solenoid, put the key in run and then hit the button and she stars right up! Before the problem the torque converter locked up perfectly every time.
So my question.
What wires are responsible for the torque converter lock up in 3rd and overdrive? Is it possible that when re-wiring the harness from a 93 to my current 92 there is a cross up somewhere? Or did I fry one of the solenoids in the valve body?
It has been a long time since I have been here so I cannot remember where everything is anymore.
