I have been running the Superlift 5.5 with the extended radius arms and superrunner steering. 4wheelparts wholesalers in Denver installed it and did the alignment. The truck steers fairly straight but the tires are showing massive wear on the inside, with the drivers side being worse. There is also a cyclical swishing noise that has been there since the lift. I was told that changing the ball joints would help the tire rub, the swishing was unexplainable. I know the ball joints are probably worn with 160,000 miles and some heavy off roading last summer so I will probably replace them anyway. I was wondering if the ball joints were the problem or is the amount of lift on the TTB design pushing the limitations of a caster/camber adjustment? Also, does anyone know if the swishing noise has anything to do with the tire alignment problem? Please help as it looks like I have ruined two pricy tires. Thanks for any input.
