I take it the head of the bolt is stripped?

Penatrating oil/heat (propane torch) and some vise grips might get it.

Or you might see if you can get a stud remover/installer socket from Harbour Frieght and use that on what's left of the bolt head.

Hammer and a chisle, and try knocking it in a counter clock wise direction.

Drill and an EZ-out.

That's all that comes to mind right now.

Are you talking about the tie rod end that directly attaches to the steering knuckle with a Castle nut? Or are you talking about the adjusting sleeve on the tie rod attatching to the drag link?

I belive he's talking about the upper ball joint eccentric bolt, not the castle nut but the 7/16's bolt that keeps the eccentric locked.

no im talking about the allen head bolt that keeps the bushing in

The upper Ball Joint and camber bushing is held in position by a pinch bolt (as seen removed in picture below). I would definitely recommend heat as SVO has already mentioned. Many bolts are installed with RED loctite from the factory. This loctite is semi-permanent and can only be removed by heating the bolt to 500F or by applying a huge amount of force. After heating the bolt wait a bit for it to cool down as anything hot expands and will be harder to remove.

This is one of my favorite tools. It is a specialized vice grip that conforms to nuts. You can then slip a cheater bar over the handle and go to town. I often will use it if a standard stocket/wrench just has too much slop. This tool helps prevent the rounding off/mangling of the bolt in the first place. $14 at Sears.
