All fun & games until sun visor takes out an eye!...

Hi,

I've got a 93 ex sport. The sun visors swing far too easily to the point that if I take a relatively quick turn they become lethal weapons as they swing wildly towards the driver and front passengers faces . ok maybe not lethal but a serious pain in the eye!

I tool the driver's visor off and there is a spring in there to provide tension...

I'm kinda at a loss for how to make this not swing so easily.
Any ideas?

Wear some safety goggles like they make you in shop class or a hockey mask may help protect the face.

I actually used ducttape to make the rear vets stay in place (wrapped it arround the axle thingy to make it tighter)

No realistic ideas but I just damn near put an eye out this morning because I forgot the visor was down. Jumped in the truck, it was still dark out, and that damn thing smacked me right between the eyes.
