All lights blinking

Hi i have 99explorer v-6 just bought him, after i drow him one day the lights started to blink.

Air bag light came on, think i know way, i was moving some wire plug under the driver seat. might be it!!

Check engine light came on.....
over drive came on and blinks....

4x4 lights both blinks and 4x4 will not work

and sometimes out of nowhere the wipes com on

the car drives great, shifts normal and has 75000 miles on it

i want to fix the 4x4 but the rest im thingin of taking the f... bulbs out of dashboard.

i have owned many ford but this brand seems to be nightmare am i right??? i think it would suit him best to get drive train from 250 super duty truck and 351 windsor in the hood,

so is there any one solution on this or am i dealing with many broken parts???

no trying to blame anybody, but maybe the previous owner just cleared hte codes just before you had it in your hands, and so they just came on again when it was driven enough time for the computer to detect the malfunctions.

the best you can do is get the truck scanned for codes, auto zone does it for free, and then post the codes, and everyone willbe able to give you better advice on the repairs you need.

yes i will take it to the dealer on monday see what is going on.... after reading about all thetroubles with those cars im supriced my F-250 is like a dream no major problems...

I reconnected the battery and check engine light went off, went for a drive and it did not come back, last night it was heavy rain maby something got wet???

Over drive light started blinking agin i checked the fluid lewel like manual says and it seems to have a little bit more fluid than it should... could the light be blinkin becous of to much fluid??? fluid seems to be red and fine, no burning smell

and air bag light stays on, blinks 4 times than 1 time, it does this few times than it stays on i checked the wires under drivers seat seems to be ok and i get power to the plug 10 volts

if air bag light blinks 4 times than 1 time is that code 41 ???

i found a broken wire on the passanger side air bag sensor in the bumber im fixing that now, will the fix clear the code or will i have to let the dealer do it???

The O/D OFF light flashing means there's something wrong with the transmission, and it needs to be checked as soon as possible so it doesn't get damaged.

The CHECK ENGINE light means that the PCM has stored DTCs. You need a code reader to extract the DTCs. They're numeric codes; once you have them, post them here and we'll look them up for you. I wouldn't worry about that tho unless the light comes back on.

The wires under the seat are for the side airbag and they are there wether you have the side airbag or not. If you don't have the airbag, the harness is plugged into a resistor that simulates the airbag module. LFC 41 is "Front External Crash Sensor Open Circuit or Short to Battery" which is not related to the wiring under the seat.

ok it was connected to computer, transmission code 741.... says converter, we took a drive and its not slipping, but sometimes it dont lock up, most o the time it does...

the 4x4 is not getting power.... the guy is going to get the book to see how the wires lay.


so what can be wrong with my transmission???
