Alpine and JL System

I am planning on installing a system around Christmas. These are the items I have picked out. Please comment whether I should make any changes or if I have picked something I won't like. Thanks,
Alpine CDM-7861 Headunit
Rockford Fosgate PUNCH 250.2 Amp
A pair of JL Audio 12w0 (each in 1.5 cubic feet)

Also, once I send the low frequencies to the subs, will the speakers sound a lot better.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to take a look at the CDA-7875. I'm looking into getting that one or the mp3 player they make.

i have a pair of 12w0's..they hit pretty good..i don't know much about the amp..i'm running them off a phoenix gold xs-2500 i think..it pushes them nicely

do you listen to many mp3s? alpine makes a great mp3 headunit, the cda-7878. it's definitely on the pricey side, but it's an awesome headunit. i think the cda-7977 and the cda-7876 are nice head units as well.
