Ok, so I had a post a little while ago about the possibility of bad tie rod ends, or an alignment. Anyways its strange, I cant figure it out. Ok, so the vehicle needs an alignment I know that much, but when you go over a large bump or something its fine, but if you go over something really small like the tar that they use to fill cracks in the road the steering wheel jerks almost uncontrollably.

What could it be? I know the previous owners had the front brakes done and fixed the front axle seals, do you think it just needs an alignment?

Here is the old post:

I would check the front hubs. When the replaced the seals maby they did not tighten the rotor back right and you have play in the bearings. I had a drift like that on my 97 F150 and found a race spinning in the rotor.

PS you can not feel it by jacking and shaking it. The brakes hide it. You must remove the tire and pads.
