Alternatives for the stock rims (Oh I hate their color)

Hi from PR. After seeing this http://hubcaphaven.com/ford_skins.htm I think I might just put this on to get the chrome color I want (I just hate my current color). I dunno how much people around here would ask to paint current rims so with that thing nicely fitted glued or whatever with detail to prevent it from falling and chrome centers the effect can be done... Im not from the $2000 rim club.

Have someone tried this solution? How they look?

my 99 XLS came with those chrome wheel skins. They are a cheap alternative, but After a while they start to come off, my neighbors f-150 has them and one is peeling off. They are only held on with 3m tape. If you want cheap chrome wheels, look into steel wheels. they cost $50-$70 per rim.
