Anyone know of any place that perhaps sells/makes a direct bolt in aluminum (or steel or whatever) windshield wiper/coolant overflow combination reservoir that would bolt into a 2000 Xploder 5.0?

Yeah... Too pricy lol, unless someone on the forums has the fab skills and want to make one for a decent price?? :D Lol.

I only ask as my truck came with no wiper fluid reservoir when I bought it as it was removed to make room for the old turbo cold side piping... And, I think they are kind of ugly anyways, was hoping for a nice replacement, other than stock, options lol.. I know there are tons of options like this for my SVT focus but didn't know of any for the Xploder.

Well I got some decent skills with Solidworks, and I can make some pretty decent looking welds. But I haven't learned the mill yet, over the next few weeks I should be able to use it though.
I wouldn't mind making it for cheap, just don't expect it to be perfect. I'm still learning the machines :D

I'd be happy to help prototype or whatever :D

What I'm looking for is pretty much a square'ish shaped box that would bolt into the stock location of the current reservoirs that is a single piece and split inside in the middle to section the box off into halves and then, of course, on the top on each side would be a spot to screw in the coolant and washer fluid tops, and then at the bottom would be oem style nipples or whatever to plug in the stock lines... and of course for it to all fit in under the hood and take up no additional space lol.

What about using ebay overflow tanks and just make a bracket to hold both tanks..

I will have to check them out... see how they look... I searched on ebay for reservoir didn't see anything but didn't think to search for overflow :-O lol

Will need to measure how much clearance I'd have and best mounting setup but some of the results on ebay seem like they would work :D
