Ambient Lighting Difference between 2013 Fusion and Ford Explorer?

I know this is only partially related to the Ford Explorer but I recently got a Fusion Titanium but it's missing ambient lighting cupholders in the center console despite it being described in the owners manual and the ford.com features part for the Fusion?

Is it supposed to be there? If it's not, why did they leave this out and why does the description say that the cupholders are supposed to have it?

Oh and if this is the wrong place to ask, is there a Fusion forum?

How are you liking the new Fusion? I've seen a few and they catch my eye. I got a VW CC in Feb and can't help but wander if I should have checked out the Fusion, especially since the nearest VW dealer to me is about 4 hours away..

The Fusion is amazing! I'll post some pictures and a video up later today so you can see what yours might look like if you decide to get it. If you go for the Titanium, it's so beautifully decked out and I can say this quality is comparable to a Mercedes or BMW. I also got a good deal for this car. It is amazingly fuel efficient compared to an SUV if that's all you've driven all your life. I've managed about 27 - 28 MPG and this is during the break in period. The 2.0L Ecoboost's pick up is so good in the lightweight Fusion. I suggest the Fusion because I also got people coming up to me going like, holy crap, that's a nice car. It looks like an Ashton since the designer for it was a designer for Ashton Martin.

I reached out to the Fusion brand manager and found out that the cupholders are not lighted. She has put in a request to have the website updated. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
