Amp Bypass

ok, i feel like a total idiot, and ive searched for this, but what does an amp bypass look like for a 97 JBL system with the rear sub? for now im putting in an aftermarket HU but i want to use the stock door speakers for the time being, so what does an amp bypass thing look like, and where do i install it? thanks in advance

I believe it has 2 or 3 harnesses on each end. one end plugs into stuff behind the HU and the wires need to be run all the way to the external amp that's behind the passenger panel in the cargo compartment. There the harnesses plug into some other stuff

So basically it's a bunch of harnesses and is very very long.

dammit alec, what a buzzkill.. thanks though man, i can pretty much so always count on you answering my stupid questions, im just gonna wait and wire up a complete system in a bit then
