hey guys i am tossing an idea around...
would it be better to use a single 2 channel amp for 2 10's or two smaller wattage amps individualy for each sub? i am not looking to shake the world or do competitions. lol i am actually kinda happy with the 2 10's hooked up to factory amp, i just cant crank it or the amp goes into some kind of "saftey mode" and shuts off for like 5 seconds. i know the 10's will toast the factory amp soon but i figure that'd be just a good reason to do this.
oh yeah , what size amp you think would be best for a 2 MTX 10's in a box...(model TW102) one amp at 150 or so? or two amps at 50 or 100? the speakers say rated at 175 a piece, but i think thats fishy...

your gonna want to use a small 2 channel amp

i would sell you a used rockford 150s for 70 dollars. its only been used for about a month and it would be perfect for you. i cant believe you've been using the stock amp!

i'll throw in an rca, 8 gauge wiring, and a fuse holder and call it 100 plus shipping

sounds good but i am not really having the loot to do this this month. i am moving back to NY tomorrow and so far it has cost me a lot, getting truck ready for trip and all...but as long as the amp is working (not blown ) i would def be interested, you say thats a 150 watt amp? 150 watt rms? so figure on 75 to each sub...i know RF is a good name...
EDIT: looking at your photo gallery...you talking about the black RF amp mounted on that box?

the amps birthsheet says it makes about 195 watts rms at full power.

let me know when you want it- i'm redoing my system and no longer using it . it is a good little amp and is in totally perfect new condidtion
