ok so my school has like 10 super high super hard speed bumps, and i put a double add a leaf in about a month ago and everytime i hit those things my back flies up and then slams down, and evidently its been abusing my subs, which are in a bandpass box with the amp bolted into the back of it, today when i was leaving school the amp fell off the bolts off the sub box onto the floor, the ground wire came out and the radio cut out? so i got home put the ground wire back on and the radio works, but now my amp and subs wont come on, what should i do? is it the fuses? i took off the power cord and put it back on, and when i did it didnt spark like normal? so i dont know help me out guys

Check all your fuses. It might be a fuse and it might be something internal. Check the fuses on your amp and the one to your batt first.

check the fuse in the amp and the fuse in the line that runs from the battery, also make sure the power on cable runing from the radio its in good shape, make sure the ground cable its making good conctact.

how do i check the fuses? just look at thema nd if they dont look black then theyre good, or do i just have to replace them

pull them out of the amp(if they are that way) and look at the metal piece connecting the two sides of the fuse. if it is split/cracked it is blown. if not then move on to the next fuse. Now depending on what type of fuse you used on your power wire it could go different ways.

you can tell if they are blown just by looking at the metal stripe inside the plastic or glass housing.

hope this helps.

thank you Captain Obvious, but it only doesnt happen if i am literally crawling over them, which no body has time for in school morning and afternoon traffic, therefore its better when i hit them at like 10 mph oposed to 5, no matter what it happends

you should try checking the voltage going to the amp with a voltage meter when the car is off and when it is running. If your not getting enough voltage to the amp when the car is on you could have a bad ground connection and you might try connecting the ground to another spot such as one of the bolts that holds the seat down.(because it goes deep into the metal of the car)
