Ok, I've had this system hooked up before in my old s10. Now I just hooked it up in my 02 ex and it is not getting power. I ran the battery line to the battery and the fuse is fine. Fuse on the amp is fine. RCA cables are run and I double checked those. I have checked the remote lead from the HU and it is fine. Have the subwoofer part turned on, on the HU and turned all the way up.

Now, when I play music, the light on the amp flashes very lightly with the beat of the bass. When I unhook the RCA cables from the amp, it of course completely stops flashing at all and does not light up. It used to come on completely solid when it was in my other truck. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have run the ground to underneath the seatbelt piece of metal that attaches to the metal in the floor. If you look under the rear seats(not the third row) the passenger side rear seat belt clicker deal, it has a big metal piece at the bottom that is bolted to the floor, I couldn't get the connectors on the end of my wire to go around the bolt, so I just took it off and stuck the wire under the metal(it is touching the metal floor) and bolted it down, it is very tight.

Someone please help, I am stumped.

Just go through a checklist... not much more you can do.

Power -
Ground -
Remote -
Speaker Signal Wire -
Speaker(s) -
RCA's -
Head Unit -
Amplifier -

Double check the load (ohms) that the amp is seeing too.

I already fixed it last night, just didn't have time to post it here. It was the ground wire, I read a post somewhere on the net and it stated not to ground to the seatbelt bolt and the strong welds do not allow it to ground very good. So I moved it to the seat bolt and it works fine now. Just need some bigger subs and amp now, my 10 Punch Stage 2 isn't cutting it, although it does sound very decent for one 10.
