your only gonna get what the amp is rated - 300W

You might get the 600 depending on what amp it is. Look at this amp.

http://www.zedaudiocorp.com/Products/kronos.html

It does 250 x 2 and 1000 bridged. Granted not every amp will double power but most if not all will increase significantly.

It depends. You want to look at rms ratings, not the peak ratings. Some amps increase in power when bridged, but usually not a whole lot. If this is running to a sub @ 4 ohms (I'm assuming this is as low as it can go), you may not ever see that full 300w because of impedance rise. My point being, even if it is a little more powerful bridged, you should be ok. What kind of amp is it?

i was thinking about getting a new amp to push a pair of 10" rockford (RFP2210) i have a 2ch 1200w amp right now but i think its going out.

There are actually very few if any that don't increase in power bridged.

The biggest question in amp wattage is the brand. What kind of amp is it?

Yes it will be in the manual and the reputation will determine if the numbers are real.
