Okay, my amp's manual lists it as (all figures are RMS)
30x4 @ 4ohms
60x4 @ 2ohms
and
120x2 @ 4ohms
my plans are to use this 4 channel amp to drive 2 rear door speakers in my X off only 2 channels, i have a slightly less powerful amp for the front 2 door speakers, by adjusting the gains I believe I can match their outputs fairly well.
The other 2 channels i plan to bridge and then drive 2 8" subs.
Should I get 2 8ohm or 4 ohm speakers, from looking at the manual, it appears that If i get 2 8ohms, then the load would be 4 ohms wired in parallel, and the amp would deliver 120 watts to each speaker...
Are those results right? Or do you think the manual is misprinted and it should be 120 x 2 @ 2ohms??
Its an old Rockford Fosgate 4.6x. Trying to make sure that before I buy, the subs will have enough power.
Thanks
