Guys i was driving down the interstate the other day and started hearing the noise..... sounds like road noise that increases and decreases on my speed. The noise will completely go away however when i turn the wheel to the left going around a turn. any ideas what it is? thanks a bunch.

thats the wheel bearings about to fail in your hub assembly. Replace it as soon as you can before it decides to go boom on the highway. the part can be found at napa or any other automotive store for 160-180 bucks. The assembly is held on by 3 bolts that are 15mm. The cv retaining nut is a 32mm. Loosen all those bolts before you take off the wheel.

yeah, wheel bearing for sure..took me only 45 minutes to change..but i paid 400 the hub, but maybe because i live in CAN

i bought one in canada once from lordco and then returned it...400 CAD was i paid.

Indeed, it's a wheel bearing issue. If it's a 4x4, it's a hub assembly, and prices vary widely (from $145-$240). If it's a 2wd, it's still the bearings, but they're much cheaper ($15 each)
