Amsoil Air Filters

Okay

Since this thread had been resurrected, these is salvation for us FIPK users. According to the chart on the Amsoil site, Amsoil part number EaAU6065 will replace K&N RF-1042 and K&N RF-1048. It has a 6" I.D. flange, 7.5" O.D. base, 6.5" length and 5" O.D. top. For all of us wide mouth filter users, here you go.

I agree! I just bought the same Amsoil filter Celly has, the EaAU3560. I just put it in last week and I love it. My K&N filter looked like garbage compared to my new Amsoil filter. It was noticeably bigger (more air flow) but what I liked about it the most was how Amsoil's filter has the hole on the top of the filter so it's not only sucking air from the sides but the top also (unlike the K&N only sucks air from the sides). The second I started my vehicle my air intake was definitely louder just at idle. I could tell the Amsoil filter was sucking/humming alot louder compared to my K&N when I put my ear up to it. I also cleaned my MAF sensor with electrical cleaner since the Amsoil doesn't use oil on their filters. A highly recommended product

I'll be honest. I'm still using the AEM Dry Flow filter but a new option away from oiled filters is available for those who need the 6" I.D. inlet.
