Greetings!
Before I picked up this Explorer, I was into Mustangs and Merkurs -- I still have an '89 XR4Ti in the garage -- as I liked my cars low and fast. This one, though, a friend of mine was selling on Facebook, since he didn't have a need for it, and I got it for the princely sum of $225!
What is it? It's a 1996 XLT with the Centarus package! This one has the 4.0 with the 4R55E transmission and is not 4WD. Not sure yet how much I really like the shoebox conversion yet, but it -is- a conversation starter, I can tell you that much.
I'm here on the Forum to meet new people, make new friends, to bug some of y'all to death with silly questions, and to find a Centaurus guru -- is there such a thing as a Centaurus guru? Guess I'll find out!
