And you Thought our 13-15 tuning was good!?!

Absolutely, the tuning is capable of being more aggressive due to those parts.

So you're saying that you would be excited if there was like a new tune coming for you 13-15 guys, huh?

I hate commercials! lol

Did the 2016 Tune ever get completed? I emailed in my information and was curious if tunes were being sent out or still being fine tuned....Thanks!

This whole thread was for the launch of the new 16 XSport tuning! It is even on our website ;-)

Probably stupid question....

So, if I get the 93 tune but have to run a lower grade, with it have any negative effects on the XSport? Such as when I am out of town and can't find 93 octane... Or, should I play it safe and get both the 93 and 91 tunes?

You get 4 custom tunes at a time along with your stock cal. So all that you have to do is plug your tuner in and load your lower tune...it is that easy. You can knock out the whole process while pumping!

Any updates on this yet?

That's perfect! Just need to sell it to the CMFIC around here....lol... since it's "technically" her vehicle.

Thanks!

I traded my 13 X Sport for a 16 X Sport 2 weeks ago. I put my cold air intake on the 16 and it still feels like my 13 was way faster. I just rolled 1k miles last night, I hope it gets a little better as it breaks in. Can't wait to pick up your 16 tune. Do you offer a performance 87 tune for the 16 sport? I would like to be able to switch between 87 and 93. Plan on picking up the map sensor and thermostat at the same time.

Adding parts without tuning your ECU will do nothing for you from a performance standpoint. The ECU has more than enough ability to compensate for the additional air flow.

We can tune for 87 octane, but your best power and efficiency will come from utilizing our 93 performance tuning. We especially recommend using 91 or better when adding a 3 BAR MAP sensor.

I'm trying to negotiate a deal on a 2016 Sport (trading in my 2014 Pilot). Seeing that I can get 400+ HP at the crank seems very enticing! Looks like the tuner will be my first mod!

Any value to the CAI kits? Any pulley options to bump boost a little? I'm looking for improved performance without raising eyebrows at the dealership?

The tuner alone will hit your goal!

A CAI will help progressively as you add more and more parts. On a tune only vehicle you will see a handful of hp/tq. When you start adding more parts that number goes up as the demand for air and fuel rise accordingly. Turbos do not work on a pulley system like a supercharger does. Turbos make power from exhaust fumes. So they do not have the same parasitic drain on your engine as a supercharger.

Ahhh! Thanks for clarifying.
