Just sharing. We had an annoying rattle in the front passenger door. The first rattle we had was those crappy plastic clips that hold the underside sound deadening panel on. But, even after replacing the clips we still had a slight rattle. I searched everywhere, banged gently on the door card until I isolated the location of the sound. After taking the door card off what I discovered is that the foam covering for the door lock cable had broken at the point where the zip tie holds it in place. This had exposed just enough of the plastic coating on the cable to make it rattle against the door card. I took electrical tape and taped the 2 pieces of the foam back together and then I added a piece of felt to the door card where the cable runs up to the lock. Problem solved! Noise gone! Nice and quiet again. So, just sharing for anyone else that has fixed the crappy plastic clips underneath and is still hearing some rattle in either front door.

Thanks for the tip.
