Greetings everyone. I found this lovely webpage by way of google.com and have loved reading everything I could about my new explorer. I am set to pick my '95 XLT 4wd up on tuesday once the bank opens and we sign the papers. This is my very first X and is greatly needed as I kind of blew my Tracker up...oops, glad to be rid of it though. The X I think I got a darn good deal on, '95 XLT 4wd with 84k miles, for $4995. At first I thought something was wrong, but took it on a good 2 hour test drive with the sales rep, he let me take it down a trail I frequent here in Pennsylvania with my jeep (of course I took the baby side) and it faired well, 4wd worked like a charm, and 4 low was slightly better then 4 low in my jeep, seemed to push a bit more torque (then again the jeep was pushing 210k miles).
I hope to learn all I can about my X, it's my first ford ever, my best friend is excited as he's a ford guy, I've always been the chevy/jeep guy, so the change is going to be interesting.
