- 1994 explorer 4.0 pushrod
OK, 1994 Explorer, 4.0 push rod motor...
I have a CEL, pulled the codes and got 214. Also... my scanner identifies the engine as a 4 Cyl. instead of 6? Those seem related somehow... Anyway, there is a lot of info here on the board, everybod seems to need a cam sensor.
Here's the thing that bugs me... The thing runs fine.... starts right up, idles great, pulls hard.... I have no driveability issues at all. There usually seem to be symptoms associated with a failed CMP but I have none. Has anyone else seen this?
Thanks,
Russ
