another excuse to spend money!!!!!

Yesterday while I was taking my x apart to put in the gears, made a crappy discovery. my rear carrier and spider gears are toast, sooooooooo told the wife that I couldnt safely drive without fixing this. I can get an auburn locker for $310 shipped, is this a good price, I need to stay as cheap as I can but have somthing tough also. all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The Auburn is a great unit, but it will not last long under the 35" tires. Mine did very well, but I didn't want to wreck it. I know it's more $$$, but I wold look into a Detroit. It will run about 525 from Randy's, but it will far outlast the Auburn. However - if you were running 31's or smaller I would go with the Auburn in a heartbeat...
