I have a 94 Explorer XLT that I'm interested in putting a 4" lift on and thought that I might find some helpful advice as to which kits and where to search for such a critter!

It's my daily driver and my once-in-a-blue-moon off-roader too!

Welcome to the site.. There is tons of lift kits available for the 1st generation Explorers.. Just do a search, you'll find tons of information.

If you are looking to save money, you could do a 2" Skyjacker suspension lift to it and a 2" body lift. If you do it yourself it will only set you back about $300 + tires/wheels.
