Another newbie

I'm a fairly old guy and a litle rickity.. But I have lots of time and patience. When my local garage quoted me $750 dollars to do some simple repairs on my baby; I decided to try my hand at the job myself. If I can save a buck or two maybe I can stay off of welfare. Thanks in advance to all the good people maintaining this website. I firmly believe you will be rewarded for your efforts to assist all of us "wannabe" mechanics.
