Antenna Help

I have a '97 Mounty with the JBL system and need some help. I've did a search here and found nothing that helps. My question is about the stock antenna, What style of plug does it use at the brain in the back? I'm overhaulin the entire system but would like to no if i need to install a new antenna or if the factory one will work. And by overhaul I mean that i'll be removing all of the factory components and wires. I won't be using adaptors or plugs but instead hard wiring everthing. thanks for any help you can give me.

The rear antenna is a female...you will need a male to male adapter in order to convert it to use on a aftermarket HU.
