ok, heres the deal. i love the explorer ect. but i really wanted a lincoln ls, but at the time fig. i couldnt afford it. but after its all said and done i actually could have. so now im wanting to trade this ***** in as soon as i can.

i have a 3yr. and was wondering what the soonest would be to turn it in? without huge penalty, even though im going to get another ford product??

i know for a fact after 2yr. you can do it, but what about 1yr??

thanks.

You can turn it in anytime. You will likely take a loss of at least $5000. Find out what you owe, and then determine the book value of the vehicle and that's how much you owe. The lease will be bought out just like any other loan. You may get less for it if they try some actual cash value thing on you, less than wholesale, but that's not too likely.

ya, i talked to the guy that sold it to me, he hooked me up big time. kinda a friend type thing.
he basically said im kinda screwd and will take a big loss. i have to wait at least a year before shes do and i prob. then will be able to do and get right in another lease no prob. until then, he said they will but rape ya..... damn to bad.

oh well, lincoln or someone will have something cooler by then prob...
