I recently relocated to Ft Meade area of Maryland from Atlanta GA. I had to go through the one time Maryland State safety inspection. I learned I have a leaking steering gear box and I can't pass inspection and get my Maryland plates until the problem is fixed. Anyone have a trusted mechanic in the Ft Meade area? I just want to make sure I'm not getting hosed and giving the state any more than I have to. I do want to fix the problem but I don't want to pay for a new steering box if all I need is the seals and possibly hoses replaced. Thanks, Mike PS How do I change my location in my signature?
