any one have pics of a mounty - running boards?

i have a 98 and was thinking okf taking of the running boards, Does any one have pics with a mounty minus the boards? any thing I should know bout taking them off??

You will end up with a bunch of holes, many others have done it. Fortunately it's only the bottom edge on yours, 99-01's have holes in the fenders and quarter panels also. Below is my 99 truck, but the lower holes are the same on yours, under the doors. Regards,

Here it is no running boards, 4" suspension lift, hence the torsion bars showing like crazy.

Evan I like those wheels on there, they are a good fit.

Thanks, I really like them myself. I look back at old pictures, I can't imagine that it ever had those other wheels. Since they are factory, they don't look out of place, but certainly look different, IMO- Just exactly what I wanted.
