I don't have the push button ignition, so I start mine with the key all the time!

I don't recall there being an ignition box of some sort for vehicles that have push button start.

My friend has a madza 3 and he has that opiton with a key he justas to remove a cover.

The embedded key in the Explorer keyfob, can be used to unlock the door only.
There's no key ignition to start the vehicle otherwise.

Yes, remote start.
As far as I know there are only 2 ways to start the Explorer depending upon which model you have. Either with a key and remote start or push button and remote start.

Or remote start via the app = remote start anyway but not using the FOB
