Any trails around or near Silverthorn/Dillon?

I will be up there off and on from the 18th of july to the 25th. Anyone know of any good spots to run up there? OR around there. My junk should be ready by then so I can do some trail running. If anyone wants to go with me let me know too... Hopefully there is something around there. I have not been four wheeling in TOOO DAMN LONG! LOL To many broken parts and not enough desire to spend all my living life working on my vehicle. LOL However I will go.

Ryan, I recall going on one good trail near Silverthorn but I don't remember the name of it, I'll have to look it up.
By the way, were running some trails this weekend in Leadville, starting with Wheeler lake then basically a bunch of easy trails. You could always go to wheeler lake then head back... I'm staying the weekend up there to do some prerunning for the colorado colors run. We're stayin at the super 8.

Well this weekend is reserved as "change out the broken radius arm" weekend. I could just see myself getting to Wheeler lake and getting it awn and busting it the rest of the way. BTW just so you know from what I remember about that trail the last bit of its like Iron Chest. So that should make you happy. There is a spot to park right before that starts so you can walk up to the lake though.

When I get home I will look through my books to see whats around there too. My Grandpa will have a condo rented up there so I will probably have a local spot to go back to which will be nice.

cool, I'm up for some good obstacles . Plus I think perry and me will be the only modifieds doing it, so we can show off for the stockers

Well after the 18th of July hopefully I will have the second vehicle and I can get out there and start wheeling again. I just don't like the idea of wheeling my daily driver anymore. Specially with all the junk that can happen to it.
