Anybody had P1601 and P1602 - PATS ???

I am driving "new" to me 07 EB with 4.0 (not that it matters) and out of the blue I get the orange wrench and the engine just dies. Luckily, I was on a back country road, no traffic, so I just shifted to N and restarted the engine while driving. No problem since. I got 1601 and 1602 using Forscan software because my Innova 3160 reads no codes now, no check engine light, everything is fine.

I searched for the codes, and it looks like the keys may not be programmed properly, but they look like original keys. It also read that a remote starter may cause that.

Any ideas ?
