I'd use that $100 for 1/2 of a new throttle body instead of the spacer. Spacers only work well with carbs, not TB's.

Like most performance parts, as long as you take it easy, your gas mileage should stay relatively the same, but when you stomp it, the bigger throttle body will allow more air in and the computer will add more fuel.

I actually gained 1-2 mpg with my throttle body. I still drove the truck the same, it just had better throttle response and highway passing power. Like they said, like all mods, it'll help or stay the same; until you start using the new power
