Made a new friend at my new job who has a 68 GMC lifted up way high and is pushin' 650HP... he was telling me about it one day (I was riding in it at the time, and ya, I believe he is pushin' 650 HP... this thing is sick)... anyways he took a small block stroker and bored out the cylinders and a **** ton of other things. I know 650 HP is crazily unnecessary... but Stroke Trac would be kinda cool imo :D

That site says it'll work with any Ford 4.0L engine if im not mistaken.. only set you back $4550

You would way better off with swapping in a 5.0L that's bored and stroked... cost less, sound better, and more horsepower/torque.

Did a stroker on my 360 in my challenger, made it a 414. you are gaining more torque than anything. wouldnt mind having another stroked vehicle, Stroke trac would sound cool. But i guess if you are putting that kind of money into it you might as well just do it to a 5.0 and drop it in. I wouldnt be suprized if it was cheaper.

I want to eventually (like in 10 or 15 years) swap out the motor and tranny for an old 350 or 351 with a 5 or 6 speed manual. Do away with the computer almost completely. This will come after SAS and SOS though. Easy to work on and tons of power and sound for the little trac. I hate the 4.0L in the tracs personally.

Would dropping a 5.0L in be cheaper? I feel like it would be a ton more work though...

I just kinda stumbled on this and maybe a loooong ways down the road if my trac is still around an engine swap and something like this may be on my list...
