anyone have any ideas

1994 XL OHV 4.0L... High idle, about 1000 rpm when hot... any ideas what would cause this... new IAC, lower intake gaskets, plugs, wires, injectors.... any ideas would be great. I'm thinking my coolant temp sensor is fugging up, or my air intake temp sensor. Thanks

Whats your coolant gauge reading? You should get a friend with a scanner and hook up the scanner and watch the sensors and see what type of reading your getting out of your engine coolant temp sensor. Check all the signals, and make sure everything should be where it is. I believe yours should be running about 190F once "warmed"! Good luck
