When I get home I will post some good pics. My favorite thing is always tying a rope to the back of a truck and having someone get pulled around on the snow. This is fun both with and without a sled. With a sled you can hit about 40 mph but remember. A sled with plastic runners will eventualy wear into nothing. A sled with metal runners leaves a way cool spark shower behind it.

i had my frind in an empty intouched parking lot on ski's!!!! no video but it was funny as hell. 4wd doughnuts are fun to if your truck is still under warrenty (hehe)

Yeah I take my friends out every snow storm and we have fun. They love skiing behind it but without ski's. I know its dangerous and all but its fun. LAst year when we had a good storm we used a rope and a tire tied to it and went sleding around.

We just got our first snow of the year yesterday and I woke up today to an additional 6 inches of snow. I had an interesting 50 mile commute to work.

A little more snow and I will come up with something crazy to do. I'll make sure that I have my video camera.

We have a river that freezes and you can drive on it. The trick is not getting too close to the unfrozen middle section where the river is flowing.

Got a crazy friend and we might try some water skiing/waveboardn behind my Ex.

I am working on getting my spiked tires so I can participate in a lake race.

During the Iditarod we have car races on the frozen lake. They set up a grand prix style course and then the fun begins. The tire spike look like 1" screws placed every square inch or so on the tire.

Maybe I'll get some shots of the Explorer Ice Racer soon

I never get video of me or anyone else driving in snow because its so much fun! Why waste time video taping it when you can be driving in it? LOL. I do have a few pics floating around though. I love to do doughnuts and burnouts on snow and ice. I also like breaking trail. Last time I did that there was about 1' of snow and I went over it at least 5 times to pack it down for some cars to follow me. I wish I had video of that.

We went Christmas tree hunting today. It was snowing HARD. There was about 6 of us in two rigs. My X and my buddys Chevy Z71. We had a blast playing in the first real snow of the season. I was able to go everywhere (and more) that my friend could using his low range! Good ole X. Heres some pics!

"4wd doughnuts are fun to if your truck is still under warrenty (hehe)"

i'm so ponduring what this type of activity could do to the truck...

as i do this every so often and i have a truck thats way off warrentee. just curious...

i know the ovbious dangers like hittin something but what kinda problems does this do to the tranny...
i always thought that if you tires are spining the truck is fine and tires are the only things giving....

thanks for any and all info...

I imagine it's hard on the 4wd drive components to spin fast at an extreme angle, like when the wheels are turned tight. I wouldn't do it with auto 4wd. Plus the trans is wimpy as it is.:( The thing about beating a warranteed vehicle is the warranty will eventually end, and if don't end up fully breaking something, you stuck with a beater.
