thanks that would be cool. i have a mechanic/friend that has done body lift's on other trucks before and he said he would help me out with it. However he said there is a lot to do with body lifts. he said that you have to mess with the radiator fan, (move it and trim the shrowd) redoe the brake lines, and mess with the gass lines coming from the gass tank. does anyone know if this is true to the exploders or is that probably just things he has had to do on other trucks?

hey guys i just called performance accessories and the told me that they cant exchange the steering extension for me and that i would have to buy it seperate. (reasonable) then i said ok so how much does kit # 883 run for.....$257.00........ is it just me or is that outrages! custom motorsports told me the other week they would sell me the kit for $125.00 and switch the parts, but now they are sayin no i would have to buy two diff kits. sooooo i asked PA how much the steering ext was from the other kit and they said $72.11 not sure if that is a bit much but i would think it is. sooooo what do i do?

the same thing happened to me, i just returned that kit for the kit with the right extension. then it would be cheaper to just buy new bumper brakkets or just make new ones.

yea, we got it all finished. the only thing we didnt do was fab up new bumper brakets, we figured its not worth the time and effort if in jsut going to get new custom bumpers soon anyway. ill post some before and after pics once i get the film developed. THANKS A LOT to everyone who came by and helped (especially jefe and ray) they pretty much did most of the work while i watched and learned. but we had fun and i got to meet some new people and check out their rigs and stuff, it was a great time!
