and registering it. i have a nissan sentra with a rusted body and i wanna find a better body and put my motor in to it and use whatever body parts that the new body needs. my question is if i register it will it be a salvaged title?

unless the vin plate is part of the dash then yes (or u could cut the rivits and place your existing vin in) if it is part of the dash then just use your existing dash and call it your current car w/ repairs

wouldnt you get busted for switching the old dash over? my vin is also and the fire wall.

not necessarily depends on your states laws on how much has to come from the original vehicle in Arkansas if u can show 51% then u can use your old title, so i would guess a call to your local dmv would be in order, btw also in Ark u can get whats called a builders title if your are putting multiple cars together to make one, might see what your state has like that.
